Homework
There is daily homework in 2nd grade. Students and parents can expect about 20 minutes of homework per day. Additionally, your child is required to read for at least 20 minutes each day outside of the classroom. This reading should be recorded on their weekly reading log. Please review your child's planner every night for the most current information on their daily homework. You can also access homework by visiting my Plankbook website. Our class key is Seeley.

HOMEWORK FOLDERS/PLANNERS

We have a homework folder that will go home each night and will need to be returned each day. (Please see the diagram on the right). The purpose of the folder is to carry homework, and other important notes to and from school. It is also a way to enable communication between myself and families. It is important that this folder, along with your child's planner is reviewed every night (preferably together). I also ask that you initial or sign your child's planner EVERY night.
